The 2016-16 edition of the 38-16th edition of the "International Maritime Dangerous Goods Regulations" was officially released, which was piloted in January 2017 and was enforced in January 2018. The maritime traffic safety regulations are formulated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and updated every two years. Its technical content mainly comes from the UN Model Regulations on the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG Code). As a key technical document regulating the international maritime transport of dangerous goods, the change of maritime dangers will inevitably have a significant impact on the entire marine shipping industry.
